Lost BOOBIER
« on: Sunday 24 February 08 21:40 GMT (UK) »

Please could someone help me to find Edwin John Boobier, born in Tiverton.
I have found him on 1861 & 1871 census but then nothing! I can find no record of Marriage or death and think he may have emigrated but after scouring passenger lists I am still at the brick wall!
Any help much appreciated.
Tippytoes.

Thank you for your reply.
Edward is Edwin's uncle. I have also been searching for him but have found nothing after 1861 census. I wonder if Edward emigrated in 1860's ( he is not on 1871 census) and Edwin later joined him.
Will keep searching.

hi again

In 1861 Edward Boobier Snr is a widow with his sons John 12 and Edward 9.

Mary A dau 7 b Tiverton
Sarah dau 5 b    "
 John son 1 b Tiverton

Thank you for your interest Deb but I do not think I will ever find the elusive Edward or Edwin after 1871, I don't know where else to look.
