c1712 birth/baptism: George THORNTHWAITE

Hi all,

I know that a George THORNTHWAITE was born in Cumberland around 1712 but I am not sure where. I do know that he was married in Crosscannonby in 1849, his wife was born in Allonby and his children were all born in Allonby.

I am wondering if anybody is able to find any record of a birth or baptism.

I have George Thornthwaite in my tree born Bolton, Cumberland 1712,  he married Mary Jefferson at Crosscannonby Church on the 14th Nov 1749, and he died July 3rd 1798.

Is this the same George Thornthwaite that you have? I got the place of birth from a fellow researcher,  (not the IGI) the marriage is on the IGI and death from his grave stone.
I also have a photo of the grave.
