I'm trying to trace my 6xg grandfather John WATTS who married Joanna HORSELEY from Sandy at Northill in 1713. There's a baptism of a John WATTS in Sandy in 1680, son of Thomas & Grace, which might be him, but there's also a burial of a John WATTS in Sandy on 6 Apr 1683
I'd be very grateful if someone could check the transcript to see if there's any detail on the burial which might indicate if he was the one baptised in 1680
Many thanks in advance
David

Sorry, there is no extra details on that burial of John Watts, it just says his name.
However it could be the John Watts who was married to Susan, as follows...
baptisms 4 Feb 1649 Thomas son of John & Susan Watts 29 Jan 1654 Kath daughter of John Watts
burials 29 Jan 1654 Susan wife of John Watts 2 Feb 1654 Kath daughter of John Watts
other burials 4 Aug 1692 Susan daughter of Thomas Watts 12 May 1701 Thomas Watts
regards John

Thanks for checking that entry John. The fact that there was no extra detail implies (to me!) that he was an adult, particularly as other burials at around that time stated "dau of" or "wife of".
Thanks again
