John Crow was (I think) Kate beecham's brother -and appears on other census as John Beecham -which makes me wonder if William Crow was the father of some of Vashti's children??? If Vashti told anyone who the father of her children was surely it would be her mother??? But this is just speculation -you have to draw your own conclusions!!!

I'm just naturally nosey!!!!!
I found all this information the night you posted but held back until certs came to see if it was as we thought .
Some of the things are speculation -re Crow being the father - in those cases you somtimes have to draw your own conclusions.
I have an Ancestry subscription (among other things) and have been researching for (i usually say 30 years) -it's really longer than that, but that would make me sound really old!!!!!
Sometimes you just get a hunch -maybe its situations you've come across before
I have asked Ricky to look it over, as he knows Lincolnshire quite well and can perhaps help out with place names - some images are very difficult to read - I have spelled things as they appear to me on the images.
Vashti took a little bit of finding in a couple of census
there are a few more things to look up -Martha Frances' husband William -his death.
Kate Beecham's birth reg -was she Catherine or Kate -but you can do that on freeBMD
It may be interesting to purchase kate beecham's marriage cert (to Joseph A Tyler) maybe she named a father -also witnesses would be interesting -they may be members of the family.
Who were the witneses on Frances hannah's marriage cert? They could be members of her family and may add further confirmation that we are on the correct trail
