Does anyone know anything about Thomas Wilson born 1807 Orton on the Hill. He was a blacksmith.  He was married to a Mary 1810 in Sheepy Magma, probably her maiden name was Gabez.   I seem to be stuck here in my family tree.  Any information will be much appreciated.  Thank you.

Greeting’s & Welcome….Maisemiller.

Baptism found :~

Thomas Wilson.
12th. March. 1807.
St Edith of Polesworth Parish Church.
Orton – on – the – Hill.
Leicestershire.

Mother :~  Martha Wilson.

Thomas Wilson.
15th. March. 1807
St Edith of Polesworth Parish Church.
Orton – on – the –Hill.

Father :~ Thomas Wilson.
Mother :~ Martha.

The first one could be a PRIVATE Baptism
Due to the child being ill not expected to live
Second one when Thomas was well enough to be received into the Church.

Or just an error in the Parish Registers.

MIKE.

Mike  Can't thank you enough.  I would say it is the second baptism but what about his wife Mary and his parents Thomas and Martha where do I find out about them?  Thomas Wilsons daughter Martha Elizabeth Wilson was my g-grandmother.
