Could SKS please check the Eynsham PRs to see if John and Mary HAMPSHIRE had any children baptised from 1740 onwards.

just these two (not very helpful) burials

I'm thinking that the two burials you found could be the John and Mary who married in 1740 - which would explain why there were no offspring.
