Photos in spp format

I have had some photos emailed to me and they are in spp not jpg and I am unable to open them.

Does anyone know of a way for me to do this?

Have emailed the person back telling them but as yet haven't had a reply.

I've just done a google for the . spp file extension ( I had not heard of it either Undecided )

it comes up as a printer file created from something called Sprint software 

It doesn't open with any of the graphics software I have! 

Fingers crossed he will reply and send it again.

ps just found something else about Sprint... it could be... and I'm not 100% sure on this, it came with older Epson scanners and he used it to copy the photo to the email but you need the reader... the info I read only referred to actual text as Sprint reader is a text (OCR) reader
I think the person who sent it to you has done something wrong

Are you sorted yet with your .spp photos?

They are from Serif Photo Plus.

Let me know if you're still stuck I can convert them to .jpg for you.
