Edward Snook & Elizabeth Howard
« on: Wednesday 16 January 08 14:53 GMT (UK) »

Edward Alfred Snook born 1879 married Elizabeth Howard born 1887 in Woodham, married on the 23rd May 1904 All Saints Parish Church Woodham Surrey.

Can anyone me help further with details about Edward΄s family from the early censuses, 1841 to 1871?

I have found him with father, William H. Snook & Fanny nee Huh in the 1881 census. Living in Barnes see- RG11 848 folio 57 page 27
Parents both born in Middlesex.

you might have to get one of the Certs to give us a handle on him ..... wondering if Mum married again before 1861 - followed up a couple of possible remarriages, but no luck ..

That΄s a good start, I΄ll look at the 1871 census info. Cheesy

I΄ve not found anything on FamilySearch, not many Snooks to compare!

I found Moses on familysearch Smiley

birth about 1834 Southampton, would match your Beaulieu entry Huh

Also gives 1881 census entry as living in Barnes.

1861 remains a mystery - even with all the names extant from the 1871

Southampton - not really, other side of the Solent .... was it a 'submitted' entry ?
