I don't know if it is of any help to you, but I have an Eric LANG in my tree. No other details other than he married Maureen KNOTT in 1951, in the Newton Abbot district, Devon, in 1951.
Maureen came from Torquay.

By the way I have Shellabears in my tree - Vittery Shellabears of Brixham
In my tree John Vittery Shellabear was buried two days before Wm Chas Norris and William Vittery was buried on the same day as Wm Chas Norris.
