Hi
I am hoping someone has access to the registers for Newton Longville and possibly surrounding parishes. I am looking for the marriage of John Silk, attorney, to Harriet Biggs which took place in 1817 in Newton Longville. I would like to know if it was by banns or by licence and any other information about that event.
I would also like to find the birth of Harriet and her parentage.
Harriet and her two daughters, Harriet Susanne Maria and Ann emigrated to NSW in 1833 after the death of John so I think that possibly her parents were dead or indigent by that time.
