Hi Maisiemiller
On IGI there are 2 James Bone.
James Boane, ch 21 Mar 1791, Sandy, Bedford (parents James Boane & Rebecca)
James Bone, ch 10 Nov 1793, Blunham, Bedford (parents Thomas Bone & Elizabeth)
Also on IGI: Sarah Bone, b 12 Oct 1817, ch 26 Jul 1818, Blunham, Bedford. Is this your Sarah?
Parents of Sarah Bone are James Bone & Ann. Marriage of James Bone & Ann Auban, 27 Jul 1812, Blunham, Bedford.
1841 census, Blunham, Bedford: James Bone, 45, Ag Lab Ann Bone, 50 Joseph Bone, 25 Susie Bone, 25 Sarah Bone, 20 Caroline Bone, 15 Elizabeth Bone, 10 Martha Bone, 2 William Bone, 2 John Bone, 1mth
Does this help?

Hi Ann Bone must die between 1841 and 51 as on 51/61 census James is married to a Sarah born Bedford St Pauls c 1791. In 51 James gives his birthplace as Muggerhanger and in 61 as Chalton. Can post full details if you need them Jan

Hi Maisiemiller,
I know my ancestors varied their place of births on most census', often naming different towns/parishes within a particular county.
Blunham and Chorlton are both in Bedfordshire.

Charlton (not Chorlton) was a hamlet in the parish of Blunham, so I'm sure the one Sueky found is right.
Until 1860 Moggerhanger was also a Blunham hamlet
Following up on Jan's post an Ann Bone age 57 was buried at Blunham on 21 Feb 1847

Hi This site is good as it allows you to search the IGI by parish
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/
There is a suitable Blunham christening for both a James Bone (as posted above by Sueky) and an Ann Aubon. Unfortunately it appears both sets of parents moved in from other areas so you will need to use Familysearch to look on the IGI for suitable candidates elsewhere. Also worth searching here for mentions
