1861/1871 Liverpool Lookup Copeland

Hello,

Please could anyone tell me if they can find a ROBERT COPELAND who was a cooper, and had a daughter ALICIA born in 1857. As Alicia was born in liverpool I expect him to be there in the 1861 and 1871 censuses.

I have no more information than this.

Cannot find an Alicia Copeland born Liverpool but found this one that fits and there is also a John Copeland from Scotland with a family in Liverpool.

Alicia Copeland, servant,age 12,servant born Scotland

Alicia is a servant to a family called Fearnley, head of the family a master painter employing 5).

They were living in the district of Hindley

What year was that? Does Alicia's age fit with her being born in 1857? What local district was the 12 year old servant alicia in? liverpool?

No signs of any ROBERT copelands?

Sorry it was the 1871 census and I mean I found a Robert Copeland too.

Alicia was in the registration district of Wigan and the sub district Hindley.

Here is the Robert Copeland I found, born Scotland in the 1871 census. The census image is quite faint but here goes.

Robert Copeland, age 41,master carter born Scotland
Agnes Copeland, age 40 born Scotland
Mary age 17, dressmaker born Scotland
James age 14, born Liverpool
Robert age 9 born Liverpool
William age 7 born Liverpool
Henry age 5 born Liverpool
Samuel age 12 months born LIverpool
Agnes age 12 months born Liverpool
