Hi Billy,

One of my ancestors Jean Lindsay from Kirriemuir married David Rough in 1905 - his father was George Rough (1806-1881) from Glamis. I have some other information on these Roughs from Ian Rough in Australia.

Hi David,
              Good to hear from you, I correspond with Ian on a not so regular basis and have his tree in my database. Unfortunately after years of trying we cannot connect his with mine.
            He does have Glamis ancestors as you are aware, but were they fit in to the many, many I have  is the problem. 
            If I can help with anything please get in touch

Hi Billy,

My connection with Ian is through the David and George Rough mentioned - and his tree was useful to fill out some really distant relations - but they were only peripheral - my interests are more in the Lindsays of around Kirriemuir and Tannendice - that is my mother's family line. If you have anything on them then......
