My grt grt grandfather was Andrew Farmer Turnbull born on a Berwick Smack off Sheerness
son of David and Elizabeth Turnbull
David was a printer
From what I was told the captain of the ship was called Andrew Farmer . But I have yet to find him
He well may have been a relative of Elizabeth as her father was a fisherman
The name Stuart still comes down
my mother has a few cousins Jane Stuart , she was Jane Stuart and my brother is Stuart not sure if his sons second name is Stuart
but it stops there with us as he has 4 girls

In 1891 Matthew is a Marine Engineer fitter with children and one Jane S Turnbull age 4 and so the name carries on

This is strange I have gone into familysearch and found
Jane Stuart Farmer born Berwick 21.5.1823
Daughter of Andrew Farmer and Dorothy no last name
My Andrew Farmer Turnbull was born 29 .4.1927
The Jane Stuart comes from A F Turnbulls wifes side of the family she was a Davidson of Spittal
