hi
does anyone one have a walter doughty who married a sarah marie reigate/reygate in their family tree? they married in caterham,1901 i think and he was a lance sergeant in the guards depot,caterham.

any info appreciated! Wink

Not related, but freebmd does indeed show the marriage, spelling her name Sarah Maria Reigate.  There is also a Walter Doughty birth in 1905 in the same area (Godstone district) - possibly a son?

On the 1901 census (index) there is a Walter Doughty, 28, b. 'Denver' Norfolk, occupation "Soldier Rhg" (royal horse guards?) living in "London".
