Oh, good... I hadn't looked at this thread for the best part of a week as I thought it had shown signs of slipping below the horizon.  I'm very glad to have raised a laugh or smile here and there, and although I'm unable to boast a classical education, I did pursue Latin until "O" Level, although that was over 30 years ago; thus I could hardly claim to have a working grasp of the language any more.
Coity, by the way, is in a delightful situation, near Bridgend in South Wales.
