I am looking for William Lear Born Abt 1885 on the 1901 census (Possible William John Lear)
I have him with his family on the 1891 RG12/1703/130/16 But on the 1901 he is missing with his sister Florence (found Her). The Family are here 1901 RG13/2060/86/15
His Father Was Henry/Harry Lear c 1861 Mother Ellen c 1858.
William was born in Torquay Devon.
He is not the one in 1901 Rg13/2072/51/13 Living with Grandmother & G Grandmother i have followed this line and it is the wrong parents.
I can't find a death for him so presume he is on the 1901 somewhere . He is possibly the William that married Annie Gard in 1907 !!
So can anybody find him in 1901
Thanks in advance Yvonne

Hi Louise, I think you've got him, I found out he was born in April 1884 & Was a signal in the Royal Navy, So that fits. He is William J Lear but that could be a transcription error!!
Thanks Again for help Yvonne

Hi Yvonne, It definitely says William T in the original - I compared it to other Js on the page and it's def. a T.... but it's probably just a mistake when the forms were originally filled in.
Pleased to have found him for you.
