I think that we may have a mutual rellie. I too have Frederick Baylis in my tree, his wife was Louisa Ransford. As yet I haven't applied for Fredericks birth certificate but I believe his mother was Fanny Baylis. However there are a couple of Frederick Baylis' and Fanny/Frances'Baylis.
Could I ask if your Frances/Fanny's parents were Richard and Susan/Suannah?
