Hi

I wonder if anyone can trace a parish record for me.

I am looking for the marriage of Marmaduke Shepherd b 25.5.1780 Thornton, Yorkshire.

I know he married someone called Jane in around 1807 when their 1st son John was born in Ingleton Yorkshire.

They went on to have 9 children that I am aware of, this is the piece missing from the puzzle.

Her surname could be Metcalfe as the middle name of one of their sons was Metcalfe, many trees have this stated but know one has the source information & I hate to include things I cant provide details for
