There is a Thomas Carpenter, born 1670 in Kenn, Devon, who I believe to be the father of my grX6 grandfather, Thomas (DOB unknown but married 23 May 1695 at Kenn,) and the son of Thomas Carpenter, (married Johan @ 1647, Kenn.  If i can establish this 'link' I add two generations to my family. Could someone please check the appropriate marriage registers of Kenn for me. Huh

My gr(X6) grandfather Thomas Carpenter, was married 23 Jun 1695 and he had a son, Thomas, christened 4 April 1696. I believe the father's grandfather was a Thomas Carpenter who was married in 1647to Johann (no surname). There is also a Thomas Carpenter born in Kenn in 1670, parents unknown. Is he the unknown father, the link between these other Thomases? Could someone look at the Kenn register and see if their are some parents for the Thomas born in 1670, PLEASE

Thomas Carpenter was born at Kenn in 1670, but no parents are mentioned on the IGI. Could somebody please check the Kenn Baptism register for me. I believe his parents were Thomas Carpenter and Jane Blackmore, married at St Mary Major, Exeter, on 24 June, 1666.
