Hi Eileen/Ricky
I love Coleby it's really pretty village.  I love to walk to the end of the lane where the Bell Inn is and look at that fabulous view (we live just across the fen).

I wonder if there was an actual Blacksmith there?  If so, that might have been known as Blacksmith Lane in the old days
Just a thought.

Hi Su
It is a nice village, played football there a couple of times. I come from a village about 8 miles from it.
A of my ancestors come from Wellingore, which is just down the road from Coleby.

Wellingore and Welbourn are two lovely villages as well, in fact most villages in Lincolnshire are really pretty.

We're going to the open gardens in Brant Broughton on 8th June, so we are looking forward to a wander round there.
Hope the weather is nice for it  Cheesy
