Bull family of Cottesmore

Hi - I have traced back to a Nicholas Bull born about 1705,  and have recently found a possibility that he came from Cottesmore, and that his parents were called Nicholas & Catherine.  I know Cottesmore was/is in Rutland but I was wondering if the registers etc would be at Leicester RO  can anyone confirm or deny this please?  Also where should I look for possible wills for this family (other than PCC),  they were I think yeoman so there might be some?

The Records Office also covers Rutland

But I understand that 800 years of Archives were distorted during the second world war…….
