Armstrong Gun pub

Hi
I'm trying to find out who was the landlord of the Armstrong Gun at Englfield Green Surrey in the 1930-1940s.
I have been told they were some relations but they don't know who, and my uncle would love to know he remembered visiting them frequently but can't remember anything else.

You might try some local trade directories, but the pub appears to still exist so writing or a telephone call to the current proprietors might do the trick.
