Hi all anyone able to help in tracing john dorricott c1822/3 mother possibly jane dorricott have this info already
John dorricott married amelia jones may 14th 1849 in pontesbury
john age 26 collier illegitimate mother name dorricott
amelia 23 servant, father hugh
witnesses George evans and margaret higginson

Assuming all this is the same person what is the connection to john or jane to the higginsons
also where did jane come from and who was here parents
have all the info on john and amelia after they married and there offspring trying to push backward,
found this on higginson family dont know the connection though

it look like a strong possibility of a mistranscribe for magaret, hannah and mary as the date from igi match to closly but still stuck with john and what relation was he ?
