Sarah Colson Born about 1814, in Walsham-Le Willows

Hi Colleen
I tried to look up your request at the records office today, but unfortunately Walsham-le-Willows baptism records are on film up to about the late 1700s and on fiche from 1840, but nothing inbetween. To find 1814 you (or someone) would have to look at the original registers and these are held at Bury St Edmunds record office (sadly this is not where I was!)
However, marriages for this time were on film and there was a marriage for a John Colson and Elizabeth Meadows, married 9th March 1813 at Walsham-le-Willows.
This couple may or may not be parents of Sarah, but the timing is right and I made a note of it just in case it can help you later.
Hopefully someone else will be able to help you find Sarah.

Sally COLSON daughter of John COLSON and Elizabeth MEADOWS was baptised at Wattisfield Independent on 8 Feb 1814. Sally was born on 21 Dec 1813. The family lived at Walsham le Willows.
Hope this helps. Sally was my 1st cousin, 4 times removed!
