Thank you for your reply of offering to take a photo of the last resting place of our ancestors.
I believed my G.Grand dads grave was in Rookwood, however, I discovered he is in Waverley. So, if I may please take you up on that offer again,

Richard Purchase Haggett. Waverley Cemetery 1921 May. Mother Edith father Wm.
Wife's name Edith nee  Llwelleyn Hodges.
Thank you so much, I have his death certificate, but no photo of him, or the grave.
If anything else is needed, please ask.

Hi Darlene,
I am from Australia and live in country NSW I came across this post by accident and was hoping you would be able to help me.
I am looking for my father and his father at Rookwood Cemetery. My father was Dennis Charles Rae and he died between 1974 and 1978 he would have been in his 30's. His father was Charles "Chicka" Rae and died after my father perhaps between 1975 and 1979, they were both Catholic. I hope you can help on this information.
thanks
Lea

Hello Darlene,
Would you be so kind as to have a look for some of my ancestors who are buried at Rookwood?
I don't have the list with me, but off the top of my head I can think of these names:
HAYNES John, died 1917
HAYNES Sarah (nee BELFORD), died 1885 (?)
HAYNES Charles, died 1959
HAYNES Rachel (nee NANCARROW), died 1961 (?)
....any other HAYNESes that you find would be welcome, too, if it's not too much trouble.  Smiley

Thank you very much in anticipation
