Hi Darlene, thanks for ure offer of help!

Don't know if u can help me but i do have a few names id liek checked out if possible. The dates are a bit vague i'l admit but i'm going on what i know...

Elizabeth HURST d abt 1880 aged roughly 30

Alfred HURST d either 1940's or 50's was born in 1874

Also if there are other Alfred HURST's in 1970's or 80's i'd be interested in them also.

I know they might be a bit of a needle in a haystack case but thoguht it would be worth trying.

Thanks in advance for helping!

Hello,
The only one I could find close to your request was Lucy Townsend died 1952 age 80. She is buried with her husband Thomas Townsend died 1935 age 67. Two others are also buried in the same grave, Stanley Townsend died 1920 and Kate Mancer (adelaide) died 1953 age 60.
Sorry I could not have been of more help!
Cheers

Hi Darlene,  Cheesy

I am searching for Sarah Matthews who I'm told was buried at Rookwood Cemetery.

Sarah Jane Matthews, (nee Carey)

Born about 1848 Middlesex/London

Died 2 August 1908 Waterloo Sydney

Married William Lea Matthews in 1867

Religion Church of England.

Thankyou Darlene,

margaret Smiley

I originally posted this on Census Lookup and Resource Requests Board a few days ago, which was the wrong board.  Embarrassed

Hello Margaret,
I found a Sarah Matthews died 8 Aug 1912 age 57 with a William Matthews died 8 Aug 1912 age 57. As you can see by the above dates and ages there has most likely been a mix up with the transcription?
If you think they are yours then please let me know and I will post the grave details for you.
If not there are other Sarah's listed but none close to your death date?
I found one Sarah Jane Matthews died 1945 and her husband William Matthews died 1907.

Hope this helps?

Cheers
