Hi,
I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family and am looking for information about the parents, grandparents, siblings and children of Samuel Rossiter baptised on 22.7.1855 at Lancing.
I know his parents are Samuel Rossiter and Ellen Knight but have no details of them.
I also know that Samuel had at least two brothers ( John born circa 1858/ William born circa 1864..both in Lancing)
Any information would be greatly appreciated please. TIA.

The nearest match I can see in 1851 is Samuel Lasiter/Rositer age 20 or 26 born Chichester lodging with James Norton and family. Occupation Labourer(Common) Jobbing. Living in Chapel Street Chichester

If Samuel is already lodging in 1851 it looks like his parents could be hard to find.
Wonder if he is related to the Nortons or apprenticed perhaps?

Don't know if you have had a chance to look or even if you want the Knights but William, Ellen and Edwin are recorded as children of William Knight and Mary
