My great uncle was demobbed on 5th September 1919 after serving in the A.I.F.
He rejoined on the 2nd October 1919. for the A.I.F, Special Unit and embarked for London on the ‘Rugia’ 13th Oct. 1919, and disembarked 16th Dec. 1919. Returned on 27th Feb 1920 Discharged 12th  March 1920. Has anyone any information regarding the A.I.F. Special Unit ? What it was doing in London during that period, and why ? Possibly where it was stationed ? Any information would most welcome.
TIA - Anthony
