i have been following the marriges from one place to another as well .there is still one cooper to find out about and thats jameses son who lived in copt oak markfield his proper name was sidney cooper he was a farmer in markfield and a church goer and also a boxer which i found out about but no one seems to know about him it does say markfeild boxer so some should have known about him i have contacted the navy as his promoter said he whent in the navy but they want about fivty pounds for a search for him Danone

:)Hi liz the emma from markfield is the one i wanted she is related to my mothers side she was from barrow street her husband edward buddon wood .she was 33 years oldin 1871 edward was 60 years old.on the Alpha order below her is sibby cooper james he his her relation james ees son was her brother his name was sidney cooper .most of the information came from google Danone

Hi liz :)If you go to googles and put in emma sketchley you will see that Emma was married to [b]Edward in 1871 and not John. I have all 1871 census from there and followed them by puting the numbers in from them and it takes you to other places were they lived and who they married Danone

John and Emma's marriage Jan/FEb/Mar 1865 Barrow upon Soar John Sketchley to Emma Morris
and, according to the censuses THIS is the Emma who is bn MArkfied, and is 33 in the 1871 census, living at Barrow Street, Quorndon. Meanwhile 60 yr old Edward with his wife HArriett are living at Braddon Wood, Quorndon.
I just cannot see where you are getting your information from. I would suggest that you look at the census images yourself.
