Marlow marriage lookups.

Hello all - those who have helped in the past and others.  Smiley

I have acquired the G Marlow baptism records and now have more queries.

Is there someone with access to the marriage records?

I am looking for the following marriages -

1. William EAST to Ann_________ about 1754

2.John WHITE to Amey________about 1754

3.  Any LOMAX marriages from say 1800.

Hi Joy, I have the Marriages for All Saints Gt Marlow on microfiche. I have just checked with the dates given. The only William East Mariage I could find was 1624/5.
The only John White was 1759 to a Mary Grove and a John White to a Elizabeth West 1764.
I found 2 Lomax Marriages.
William White (Wid) otp By License 15.10.1803 to Hannah Lomax (spin) Witnesses George Phelps, Sarah Dell Wildsmith Badger.

James Lomax (bac) otp Banns, + Deborah x Savage otp19.8.1819.
Witnesses John Muspratt, Wildsmith Badger and Elizth x Pusey.

There's a marriage on the IGI which might be the one -

Medmenham  5.4.1752 William East & Ann Wright.

Medmenham's only about 4 miles from Great Marlow.

All this information - the family webs in Marlow - fascinating - and hard to nut out.  Big families and so many with the same name.

My interest is WHITE, EAST, WRIGHT, LOMAX, FLETCHER - were there any other families in G Marlow?  Grin  [my feeble joke]  Tongue

Kaysy - could I query William White being a widow and Hannah Lomax being a spinster - to make our family lines work we had it the other way round.
If William White is a widow can you find a marriage for him?
Going through my notes I realise the other marriage I am looking for is a Charles Fletcher to a Mary___ about 1784.

Jill - that has got to be the William East I am after - he's married a Wright !!
Being in Aus I never realised that the village was so close to Marlow - sloppy - should have looked it up  Undecided

Hmmm - wonder what else is there that I have overlooked as family members wander away seeking partners.

Hi Joy,
Marriages All Saints Gt Marlow.
The only other William White in the Marriage's at All Saints Gt Marlow is a Wm White + Mary Bayley, Banns 7th July 1712.
I have checked on William White (Wid) + Hannah Lomax 15th October 1803 By Licence. That what it states on the microfiche.
Found a Charles Fletcher (bach) of Sprodbury Yorkshire, + Mary Huntington (spin) otp by Licence, 20th May 1783. Witnesses:Thos Oxlade, Ann Rouse.
Just above this marriage there is one for a James Lomax otp + Hannah East otp (Licence) 15th May 1783. Witnesses: Richd Williams, Eliz East.
