Hi,
I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family and am looking for information please about the parents and siblings of William Humphries Rossiter born circa 1848 in Kingswood.
In the Dec Qtr of 1866 he married Jane McKendley at Bristol.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.TIA.

Many thanks for that.The first two posts are the right family. Nor sure about the Samuel /Sarah family as I can't see as link at the moment.
Stephen and Samuel might be brothers. Is it possible to find Stephen's parents in the 1841 Census please when hopefully we might find a family in my database.

Hi Tazzie,
You could well be right as I found a marriage for Stephen and Honor at Keynsham in the Dec Qtr of 1846 but William's sisters were born before that.
Maybe the 1841 Census will turn something up or possibly the BVRI. What do you think?

There is a marriage in 1838 to an Ann Parker Keynesham.

I have the William & Susannah family in my database and there is a Stephen born circa 1816 in the family.
It does look as if Stephen and Samuel are brothers.

Whilst one might assume Kingswood near Bristol, did you mean the W-U-E Kingswood?
