Interesting, the only Kathleens in the Marriage Index for some years either side of 1931 are actually 1931 - and 2 of 'em ! Wrong spouse names tho - Ransome and Heard !

The two names sound to me like they may have been born elsewhere in the Empire and came back to Blighty after WW1.
Maybe a look in the overseas births will be an idea
Just a thought...

Many thanks for the trouble you have all taken on my behalf. I have obtained info relating to his service during WW1. He enlisted 2/3/1916 Mobilized 9/1/1918 Medical discharge 5/12/1918. I can assume from these documents that he had his heart condition since birth and place of origin of disability as Dunedin, New Zealand. His address given upon discharge was Dr Lloyd Davies, Glanafon, Haverfordwest, Pembroke. This, I hope will connect with info received relating to the marriage in 1921. Should I be able to make a connection between New Zealand and West Wales I will be only too happy to share it with you all.
