Any more details - age? married? Husband's name? Children?

Parents? Place of birth?

Spencer Faithorme [sic] Arthur Smith is listed among Oxford University Alumni as having been "of the Indian Civil Service 1864" which may explain his elusiveness prior to death.

Her husband was Spencer Faithorne Arthur Smith, they married about 1886
He was one of a large number of children of Rev Thomas George Smith (1813-1880) and Mary Harriet Robinson - the name Faithorn comes from his father's mother Ann Faithorn
I haven't tried tracking his birth, he was named in the will of his father dated Nov 1879 and was one of the executors along with his mother and  a cousin Alfred Smith
In 1861 he was a pupil at Repton, aged 18 born in Middlesex, London (called Spencer A Smith) RG 9 1961 53 14
In 1851 he was with his father at Flax Bourton, described as age 8 born at Bloomsbury HO 107 1946 188 4
