I remember my mum talking about her brother Tommy meeting the Queen (late Queen Mother) after disposing of a bomb in Birkenhead Park does anyone have any info or if possible photos? Also during the 2nd war her first husband Jimmy Smith helped rescue the Parish Priest when the local church Our Lady's Price St., was also damaged, any info gratefully received
no exact date other than between 1939 and 45 I wonder if there are any records of when Birkenhead was bombed or perhaps anything to do with Birkenhead park?
