Manifest Hard to Read
« on: Tuesday 29 January 08 22:34 UTC (UK) »

Hello I have the Manifest of the arrival of my great grand mother in 1898.

Mary and Margaret Connell arrived in Ellis Island 1st October 1898 and there destination is listed as in the image.

I know they went to Boston but I cant make out fully who they were going to.

I think it says Cousin Hanora -------- 9 Park A Harrison Squar Dorchester with Boston X Out

and Maggie ------- 9 Park St

I think this address is in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

Would be greatfull if anyone can read the manifest better or possibly look up the address in 1900 Census see if anything matches.

Thanks in Advance

Hi Gerard

It is certainly a poser.

I think the first one is Cousin Hanora Penaly {Penally over in uk}

Sorry the second name beats me. Looks like Geragnvile. Do you think it could be Granville?  Huh

Hope it gives you some help

Regards Wendy
