Would appreciate if anyone could find an Ann Varney born about 1814 in Mentmore, Bucks.  She is not with the family in 1841.

Thank you

Hi Carol

I'm not clear on what family she isn't with - the birth family(nee VARNEY?)  or her marital family (mrs VARNEY)

Could this be her...

1841 Hamlet of Lisburn, Mentmore, Bucks.
Hundred of Cottesloe
HO107 /  Piece 50/ Book 14 / Folio: 5 / pg 14
High Street
//
Geo. VARNEY 35, Farmer - Y
Ann VARNEY 30 (or 31) - Y
George VARNEY 1 month. - Y
/
William VARNEY 2 - Y
Henrietta HITCHCOCK 15, F.S. - Y
//

The way the household is listed and split with the // and / marks - indicates William VARNEY is not their born-child.

Cheers

Hi Ambly

Unfortunately, that isn't the Ann Varney I'm looking for. This Ann married into the Varney family.  The Ann Varney I'm looking for was born 1814, seeing that there is no mention of her from that time, can only assume she died at a young age.

Thanks very much for looking

Best wishes

Carol
