Who were Thomas's parents?
« on: Wednesday 30 January 08 07:44 UTC (UK) »

Hi All,

Can anyone please help me with the parents of Thomas Beane he was born August 18, 1711 in Portsea, Hampshire.

His father as far as I know was Thomas, I cannot find a wife for Thomas senior but he was said to have been married in 1710, North Hayling, Hampshire.

Thank You

Shari

Hi Diddy,

I think the marriage date for Thomas and Elizabeth is far too early for them to be Thomas's parents.

I had a date of 1710 for their marriage, I thank you for your reply

Hi Diddy,

I wish I knew if they were the grandparents I would be sure to get further back on my husbands family.
I need  to have more on Thomas (snr) and who he married and there is no birth date for Thomas (snr) except that he was born around  1685 in North Hayling, not much help I know but maybe I will get there sooner or later.

Hi Diddy,

Thank you, if you can find anything it will be great, I just can't get anything else on Thomas or his wife.

A marriage date doesn't really help due to a lot of people being named the same and being married the same year........confusing.......but here's hoping something may come up.

I am a descendant from the Thomas Beane you mention also Smiley
Which line of the family does your husband follow?
I follow the line from James Thomas John Bean, the 11th of 13 children born to Thomas Beane Jnr and his wife Elizabeth Pitt.

Thanks

Hi Lyn,

Thank you for your reply, my husband comes down the line of  James Thomas John BEAN born 13 Apr 1743, St Marys North  Hayling, Hampshire,  England, his parents being Thomas BEAN & Elizabeth PITT they are the 5th great grand parents to my husband.

This side comes down as the side of my late mother-in-law, I have been researching this side for 8 years. it's nice to hear from someone else who is related to my husband.

I have 7 generations on the BEANE family. our grandchildren being in the 7th.

Regards
