Does anyone out there know if anyone has attempted transcribing any of the area's in the huge New Annan Cemetery situated on the Brydekirk Rd Just outside Annan. Can't seem to see any info on the DFS Family History website.
If so where can I access the info

I drew a blank when I looked for transcriptions. I think nearly all the graves cover deaths post 1855 so they aren't a priority as certs are available.
I'm not to far away so I drove over and spent an entire day hunting my rellies. It's HUGE!

I was up in Annan recently and paid a visit to the New Cemetery following an MI transcript provided by AGA on rootsweb. My ancestors memorial is half way along the first row nearest the "Bothy" and it was raised c. 1866. Spoke to a chap who was doing some restoration and he told me the lay-out is in date order with my stone as the starting line, so your assumption about dates might well be correct. I also visite DGFHS in Dumfries and bought some MI booklets, but, again, you are right there was nothing for the New Cemetery. AGA might accept a private message and indicate her source ofr the Mis there.
