Edward Clifford - 1736

Help please!  I am trying to find some more info about my Gtx5 Grandfather, Edward Clifford, born abt 1733 - 1736 (IGI) in Reading Berkshire.  He married Ann in abt 1758. She was born in abt 1740 - I don't know her maiden name.

They had at least 2 sons - Edward, born in abt 1759 - he married Elizabeth Lorimer in St James Westminster in 1781; and Charles (my Gtx4 Grandfather), - born in Berkshire in 1761, died in London in 1842,  who married first Margaret Lorimer in London (I would think she was Elizabeth's sister) and then Fanny, whose surname was probably Spaulding.

I'd like to get back another generation - but can't find Edward's parents, or his wife, Ann's, maiden name.

The two sons, Edward and Charles, were both Christened at St Mary's  in Reading - so this could have been their "local" church - maybe the parents were married there.....
