Daniel Platt was a brick and tile manufacturer in Stoke on Trent at the time of the 1891 census. Any further details would be much appreciated. A family member by the name of Joseph Caddy worked for him at some stage, Rumour is that Joseph was a Lay Preacher.
I have Joseph on the 1891 census, age 17 yrs, occ Tile Maker, living at clay Hills Tunstall Wolstanton. Hi Father, Joseph was shown as 56 yrs of age, a Coal Miner b Tunstall.
