Oh Sue - don't worry - I've been caught soooo many times I'm x-tra x-tra sceptical now and don't include quite a lot of what I probably could quite legitimately do so.

I am actually building this tree for an elderly friend of mine, in her 70's, and with no known living relations; she was an only child as was her mother, and although she is married and has a step-son and step-grand-daughter she has no blood relations that she knows of.

The Mead / Heffnill branch joins her WILLSON branch at her grandfather Robert, so Hannah Heffnil was her 2 great grandma, which is as far as I've got back on any line for her, so far.

Very, very, frustratingly, since it is living relations she lacks, there is a correction on Ancestry for one of her Willson ancestors - a direct ancestor - by a ****willson -  who hasn't made himself contactable and who says this is his direct ancestor.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I've also got a brickwall on her grandfather John Zebulon Williams - another thread in the common room on this !

So it would be nice to manage at least one respectable lineage for her!

But don't worry - I shan't go overboard, and I'm very grateful to you for what you've found !   Cheesy Kiss

Mary

Mary

As has been made clear by some lovely Suffolk RootsChatters, East Bergholt is indeed in Suffolk.  Here are some links to give you a flavour of the place.
