Well I contacted The National Archives: http://www.llgc.org.uk/ , as you advised and Beryl Evans, the South Reading Room Manager and Family History Co-ordinator, was very helpful. She said:
I checked the marriage of Edward Jones and Mary Hudson (which I presume that you already had details of) and found that they were married by licence. The licence has survived (SA 169/15) and with the affidavit and bond are transcripts of both baptisms which read as follows - Edward son of Edward Jones by Elizabeth his wife was baptized the 19th day of April 1795 The above is a true copy of the register of the parish of Bettws witness my hand John Pryce Vr March 30 1823 to all whom it may concern Mary, the daughter of Benjamin and Ursula Hudson was baptized September 14 1798 The above is an extract from the Register Book of Bwlch y Frith Chapel, in the Parish of Aberhafesp by me Evan Jones Rector If you require further searches of the parish registers or a copy of the above documents please let me know.
Wasn't that wonderful? So now I have their parents' names. Mary

I'm having problems trying to find a baptism for Ursula. I've been looking through the Goodwin (and variations) families in Montgomeryshire.
So far, the only reference to Aberhafesp is a marriage by banns (in Gwynne's Marriage Index) between Edward Goodwin (of Berriew) and Mary Evans of Aberhafesp in Aberhafesp - 21st may 1765 - which might be around the correct time if Ursula was not the first child.
I'll keep ferreting around

Sadly, the Bishops Transcripts for Aberhafesp are missing between 1769 and 1787. The only thing to do would be to try to get hold of the parish records via an LDS centre and see if they are intact for that period or have Aber run a search for you.
I'll keep looking but it's more difficult.
