Hi All
I wonder if some kind soul could do me a look up on the 1901 census, I am compleatly new to this hobby and just wanted a starting point,
The person in question is my grandfather, all I know was he was married in the Atcham district in June 1898 to a Susan Morris, I would love to know where he came from,
Brenda P

Hello Brenda,
Welcome to RootsChat
I'm sure many of us will be willing to help you.
You forgot to post your grandfather's forename - am assuming from the marriage reg it is herbert- if so, this looks a strong possibility for him

There are a couple of possibles on 1891.
getting his marriage cert would give his father's name and therefore help confirm which family is his., rather than go for the "most likely" but in reality find you may have an impressive family tree, but it is not actually yours!

So there are 2 possible Herbert Francis', one born ca. 1871 in Clun registration district and one born late 1872 in Condover (Atcham registration district)
I'm quite confident he's the one from Condover, Liz
