One of my relatives did this.
I am having problems finding records.
Name: Samuel Lewis Worms -
DOB: 16 Sep 1828 - no offical record parents - Lewis Arron Worms and Hannah Jospeh.
Wife: Matilda Catherine Lyons - no place of marriage or date - also need confirmation of her being born in Ceylon - I know the parents: John Morrison Lyons and Cate or (Kate) Lyons.

Back in ENGLAND - in the UK Census 1861

S Worms, 33, merchant - commercial agent, b London
M. C. Worms (difficult to read; indexeed as Mile), lady, b Ceylon
D. J. Lyons (?), 25, sister-in-law, b Islington
Came to NZ on "Cashmere" 8 April 1862 Samuel, Mrs Worms. Dora and Mrs C Lyons were on this ship in dec 1961 to NZ - family has it that Matilda (Mrs Worms) was a mixed race girl and wasnt accepted back in Britain!
DOD 1881 in Auckland No death record for Samuel although I do have one for Matilda.
