Hi Brian

The only references I am seeing to Haltcliffe Hall (with its connections to a branch of the Bewley family and the Quaker movement) are in Cumberland not Wigtownshire  Huh

No problem Brian ~ I get plenty of those and I'm not even at the Senior stage  Roll Eyes

Sorry I wasn't able to find anything relevant. There are a number of refs. to it but they jump from the historic to current cattle prices (seems to have been a working farm for some time).

Hopefully someone from the Cumberland board will have access to better resources.

Good luck with your research  Smiley

Regards.
