William Stewart McHendrie was born 31-01-1941 and died as an infant, could someone please check year of death? He was born in Ardersier.

William S McHendrie died Petty, Inverness, 1941, age 0. GROS ref: 106/00 0005

Scottish records do not give the quarter. You would need to order the certificate to get the date of death. (Certificates for deaths up to 1957 can be viewed online at scotlandspeople.gov.uk for 6 credits, about £1.20, so your Alexander McHendrie death in 1916 can be viewed online). It would also give you details of his parents and his father's occupation.
