Hoping some one can Help.
Looking for the Death of Anna Maria Thornhill ( have been looking for 3 years and found nothing.)
William Alfred Thornhill b 1856 born Cork, Ireland. His Parents are John Thornhill a Clerk and Margaret Thornhill maiden surname Moore. Married Anna Maria LINDHOLD b 1867 Oster Logum, Aabenraa-Sonderborg, Denmark,Parents are Thomsom Lindhold a Tailor and Johanna Neilson maiden surname Nilson.
Johanna married twice ( Lindhold then Neilson ).
William and Anna married Invercargill 1883.
In 1892 William Alfred was living at Greenhills
In 1894 William Alfred was Living at Teviot Street Invercargill
In 1897 William Alfred living at Rye St Invercargill.
Their last child Johanna was born 10 Jul 1890 at Greenhills.

Where is Anna ?
Any help in finding Anna's final resting place would be most appreciated.

Many Thanks for the information on William and Mary but where is Anna ?
Kenneth & Sydney are not part of the family i am researching.

I am also looking for a Alfred William Thornhill s/o William & Anna.
Alfred was b 1887 Geenhills.
I sent for his birth cert and after searching for 20 years NZ BMD could not find any record for him.
I know he was alive when my late Husband was born in 1951. ( As his daughter did not want her parents to know she had given birth or even had a child )
Alfred's wife Annie died in 1975 and was a Widow.

This is from the Death notice,
THORNHILL Annie Elizabeth on 8th January 1975 at 24 Talbot Street, Richmond. Wife of the late Alfred William Thornhill
I haven't put the rest in as 2 of her children are still alive.
As my husband was adopted they are reluctant to give me any information.
I have all her information from the Funeral Directors but they did not have any info on her Husband except;

Carol, I'm interested in the family of Francis Thornhill (born c1837) watchmaker of Shelton, Staffs. His father John was born in County Cork c1798. My Elizabeth Thornhill (C1800 to 1846) lived and died in County Cork, but I can't find her birth. It is POSSIBLE that John is her brother. I know that you were interested in Francis at one time. Have you learnt more? I can follow Francis' siblings (Henry and Hannah) through several censuses but after 1881 Francis and most of his family disappear. Did they return to New Zealand, do you know?
