I am wanting to find other people researching the Lucas family.My G G G grandfather was Micheal Lucas, born in 1803 in Dunbarton he moved to Durham in around 1820ish and married one Hannah ?. He had a brother Joseph Lucas DOB 1812. I can find all records of the family from 1841 to 1900,Would love to share my findings with some other person searching the Lucas line in their tree.Thank you for your time.

MICHAEL LUCUS = MARY JOBLIN 16th Jun 1793 JARROW   Durham

Children:- 
 
MARY ANN b14th Mar 1797 South Sheilds Durham

MARY        b 3rd July 1800 Dumbarton
                ch 4th July

MICHAEL  b 16th Aug 1802 Dumbarton
                ch 2nd Aug 1802

ANN         b 25th Nov 1804 Dumbarton
               ch 2nd Dec 1804

ALICE     b5th Oct 1806 Dumbarton
              ch 12th Oct

ALICE     b 28th Apr 1809 Dumbarton
              ch 14th May 1809

JOSEPH  b 8th Mar 1812 Dumbarton
              ch 29th Mar 1812

No births for Michael or Mary in Scotland but lots listed in the Durham area. I would guess Michael had something to do with shipbuilding hence the moves.

HANNAH LUCUS ch 26th May 1836 as above

Father - Michael Lucus

Mother _ Hannah Tomlinson

Can't see a marriage for Michael and Hannah
