I think the first one is Butcher. I will say it would be easier if we could have another part of the same page to try to match definate letters up. If you scan the page with your eyes and can find another word you know begins with "B" and generaly get a look at the persons hand writing and shape of letters it makes it easier to see and work out.  Roll Eyes Smiley

made me giggle at Bull Farmer !!  Thing is, with the more clearer image, you have managed to clear up an occupation for myself, I had a similar one which I had put to one side (should have put it on here) and now realise that I also have a Brass Founder - so thanks !!
